Michael D. Kelso, PE is the founder and principal engineer of Kelso Engineering Solutions. With over 20 years of experience in geotechnical and civil engineering, Michael brings a practical, field-tested approach to every project.
Licensed as a Professional Engineer in Tennessee, Florida, Indiana, Colorado, and Missouri, Michael has the expertise and credentials to serve clients across a wide geographic footprint. His background spans residential and commercial site development, industrial foundation design, environmental site assessment, and materials testing.
Michael founded KES with a simple philosophy: deliver clear, cost-effective engineering solutions with direct PE involvement on every project. No layers of management, no hand-offs to junior staff — you work directly with the engineer who stamps the plans.
